Intensive Outpatient Program (IOP)

An outpatient program is designed for someone who has already completed an inpatient stay and is looking to continue his or her growth in recovery.

Clients in an outpatient program are not required to spend the night.

In any Intensive Outpatient Program (IOP), therapy sessions are at least three hours a day, three days per week. Physicians, psychologists, nurses, and other healthcare professionals administer treatment. IOP programs are more cost-effective than a residential recovery program, but they all share the same goal of sobriety and relapse prevention. Not all people who misuse substances or alcohol are considered addicted, but they may be at risk of becoming addicted. These Outpatient programs can help them before it’s too late.

Partial Hospitalization Program (PHP)

The Partial Hospitalization Program is ideal for individuals leaving residential treatment, that no longer need a 24-hour setting.

At Broward Recovery, our PHP program is based on client goals and progress, and provides:

  • A thorough clinical and medical assessment for each client
  • A comprehensive treatment plan, including a daily schedule of treatments and services
  • A full, weekly schedule that consists of treatment activities such as Group Therapy, Individual Therapy, Educational Lectures, Specialty Groups, Meditation, Outside Support Groups, and more
